It was a truly unique meeting – our friend A. Klassa had a pleasure to meet Mrs. Lenka Prochazkova from the Carol’s University in Prague whilst visiting that city. She was able to thank Mrs. Lenka Prochazkova for the strains she got over to the members of the team.
On Thursday we had an opportunity to participate in a meeting at the Jit Solutions company. The coordinators of the project, Aleksandra Rafalska and Kacper Jańczuk, took part in the meeting which concerned the financial cupport of the project.
On September 29th the school community, including the 3-SAT team, had the pleasure to meet Ph. D. Grzegorz Brona. Ph. D. Grzegorz Brona is a lecturer at the Physics Division of the Warsaw University as well as a former worker of the research laboratory of the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, CERN where he worked from 2009 until 2011. At the CERN laboratory he was responsible for the software of the radiation detectors and supervision of the research team working on Large Hadron Collider. Grzegorz Brona is a co-author of over 300 scientific articles published in i.a. international prestigious magazines such as “Physical Review Letters”, “Nuclear Instruments and Methods” and “Nature”. He is also the co-founder of the Creotech Instruments and since 2015 – the Chairman of the Board. In Creotech he is responsible for the vision and strategy of development especially in the field of the space technology which became a crucial for the company.
We are very grateful to Mrs. Dorota Wnuczyńska for inviting her brother, Mr. Grzegorz, to our school.
On the 18th of September 2017 Kamil Iwanowski and Maciej Grajewski met Mr. Janusz Trupinda from the Gdańsk Post Museum as a part of the historical module. The substantive scope of the project including the plan for the nearest month were discussed. We divided our work and got to know the key events of the history of polish aviation which, to our surprise, have a lot to do with Gdansk University of Technology, Bratnia and the Rumia Airport district.
On the 5th of July a meeting attended by the dean of the Oceanography Department Ph. D. Ewa Szymczak, Ph.D. Aleksandra Zgrundo and Anna Rzepa took place. It concerned the support of students from the astrobiological module and the agreement between the Oceanography Department and the III LO.
Thanks to the courtesy of Mr. Tomasz Kozar who collaborates with our project we received an invitation to the Microsoft headquarters in Warsaw. It was an enriching experience. Our work went according to the agenda.
